Winter Solstice 2025
May I wake largely, why not,
when loss is all that’s left.
I must reach widely, why not,
my tiny mass of cells, after all,
inextricable with infinity.
May our species see peripherally
in time, into the other dimensions.
Why not hold the light higher
for each other, so the way
through darkness will be made.
