Why not Live in All the Worlds – Videopoem

When I peer into the otherworld
and see the Beautiful Impossible,
I slap on a name, and
the dream confined, dries up and dies.
The archetype dulls
to ordinary.

Let me encounter again
what I feared and made unreal.
Let me pass the gate of matter
to multilayered enchantment.
Land of the imaginal,
let me walk your realm with ease.

While yet in the body, let me see through the veil.
There you are, dear spirit world,
in the shimmer land, where all is animate.
Beloved spirit-helpers gather
like family all around me, asking:
Why not live in all the worlds?
