Theurgy
theurgy | ˈTHēərjē | noun the operation or effect of a supernatural or divine agency in human affairs. noun origin mid 16th century: via late Latinfrom theos ‘god’ + -ergos ‘working
If we are not divine forget it.
Everything. Any effort to save anything.
But we are we are, divine and deliciously
poised to, yee hah, jump to the next level.
Don’t want to remember?
Understandable, as it means such
work ahead, the whole creation story again.
Whew. But the dance of that,
engendering such alignment,
such energetic joy, the bounding
that comes from release of binding.
Stifling your divine agency
is like holding down a lion all your life,
a labor that pinches lips
gives you a dour face,
robs you from leaping and laughing.
Stay small as long as you want.
It’s not as much fun.
From late Middle English fon ‘be a fool’.
Foolishly divine is the whole point, y’all.
Why not, the way we’re doing it now
sure isn’t making a world
that works for all. Making a new one
is the job description of gods
and we signed the contract before we arrived.
Here we are, divine and deliciously
poised to jump it up.
