So Much More than Singular
Each of us, a crucial cell
in our human species,
each of us is linked
to make the larger body;
the one that joins
all the other species to create
the body of the Earth,
the stunning living being called Gaia.
Believe it. We are so
much more than singular.
Even while the human world is shaking,
in earthy song we spin along
dancing in the great ensemble.
Let’s take our tiny necessary places,
bowing to belonging
to our holy, only planet.
