So It Sings for All
Hang on hang on, I tell myself,
it’s the very ride you came for.
Moving through destruction
into renewal,
I shovel my myopic views
one by one as I uncover them,
into the compost pile.
We’re called to bend to the task,
to dump what’s shortsighted
and rise into the great desire,
remaking the world so that
it sings for all beings.
Do the work in your own garden.
And hang on, my friends, hang on.
