Sending the Gold aka Bioenergy Transmission

photography by Susa SilvermarieIt is gathered up now
in my heart chamber,
the sunrays on my face
the birdsong kindness,
the resounding silence
in the meditation hall.
I cannot keep it all.

My heart spills riches
to the hard sharp places
where explosions silence the birds
where a mother is watching
her child die of hunger.
My heart spills the gold to the refugees
whose boat is overturning.

I cannot keep the light to myself.
I don’t know why
I am gifted with community,
why I am fed and housed and safe.
but I know I must spill
and send the gold
out to places where it’s needed.
