Season of Breaking

Your cells know very well that the breakdown is proceeding
Your heart knows very well
that it is this you came for.
We know this season is not random.
We work our prayer, the labor of evolving,
pouring into the world the power of our presence.

With its tumult and disorder,
the season of communal change
can no more be avoided than a cell eludes its role inside the body.
or a single being escapes
its place upon the body of the earth.
Our prayer though roaring in travail will triumph.

The season is a wave collapsing
and as it comes to shore inside us all,
dualities are breaking down,
beliefs dissolving on the sands into prayers of toleration.
This season that we came for, now unreels the story
of homo sapiens breaking through, like seeds, to human luminous.
