White pelicans on the lake
still here in May.
Fresh blackberries for breakfast;
tart, need good agave syrup.
The fading rose on the patio
spreads like a pale pink plate.
An old photo turns up:
I am whispering a secret to my sister.
I travel ahead of my upcoming trips.
No insurance needed.
Dry season, I love
becoming rain for my plants.
