If You Lost your Place

Did you lose your place,
your purpose?
The ground always changes
so you don’t bloom twice
in the same soil,
but you can open again
in each day’s new earth.
The world reaches out
and says to you, Here!
A belonging invites you,
for the sake of all flourishing,
to blossom once more.
You show your beautiful face
on the new day’s earth.
When you flower again
you brighten the whole garden.
You grow your soul
for the sake of all.
You open again!
And are so tenderly welcomed
to a new day’s earth.
