Gaia Singing
Like every being on the planet,
we belong
to the family of earthlings.
The fire of life
gifted from the stars
burns inside each creature here.
we are Gaia
growing and turning and changing,
crawling and climbing and swimming,
blooming and flying and dying.
In our whirling spot in the cosmos,
we blink on and off
on the pale blue dot.
Rising from Her radiant body,
inseparable,
we are Gaia singing
