Dear Quantum Allness

If you didn’t live in my flesh,
you would not hear
the singing of the birds.
When I run, don’t you love
the stretch of my joint and muscle?
Do you adore when I chew an apple?
I know you must love
the changing kiss of the wind on my cheek;
or the feel of my arm
being stroked by my love.
I bet you delight
in the surprise of my penstrokes

when I make the poems on my pages.
With my body and its senses,
I so happily enact
and so gladly shelter
all your earthside pleasures.
I know you love
this whirling blue ball
where your cosmic dance
unfurls its laughing sails.
Oh! The scent of morning coffee.
Listen! The thrush is singing!
