Bold
Quietly heroic, each
undoes some bundles of fear
and steps, together and lightened,
into terra incognita.
Gallant and valiant,
each hero also gives
silent tender care
to the past, the child, her origins.
Their vision daring,
audacious, even brazen,
they see in the seedling on the path,
a Redwood rising to the clouds.
Their paths have met and joined.
Though they do not hesitate
to turn to the new,
how bold they are to walk toward love!
