All the Way to Wholeness

All the way to wholeness
the plotline keeps on filling in.
The shine and glitter
of the story’s lifting spiral,
makes the final chapters
especially delicious.
A narrative close to its finish
brings a storyline through
to startling comprehension.
This one will be shelved, I think,
under Poetry. Or Mystery.

The book is nearly finished.
My stardust soon returns
to the library of forms
from which it’s borrowed.
The day it all makes sense,
the patterns, flaws,
the seekings, satisfactions,
the book of my life will be due.
With galloping shimmering thanks,
I’ll close it tenderly
and fly all the way to wholeness.
