Khumba
Your elephant eye tells me clearly,
we are animal kin.
I believe in your being
and I experience
your affirmation of my existence.
When you look at me
I feel completely seen,
taken into your unflinching ken.
Khumba, you teach me.
This is how I want to look
at all the beings on my path.
