Viriditas, Lifeforce
unites our earth and spirit.
and a greenness
streaking through earth’s axis
laughs in joy.
The green fuse goes through me.
The green fuse
pierces you.
The urge to grow
bursts fervent
with a green ferocity of heart
Veriditas, drive our spirit,
green stems pushing through stone.
Claim us, burn us so we flash
like the green flame
when sun sinks into sea.
Make emerald emanate in waves
from Homo Luminous.
Oh viridescent Gaia,
we become entirely yours.
Now we take our place,
members of the living Earth.
