Regard the Fair Crone
From high windows bending light
in every direction
down the old stone hallway,
rainbows dance,
refracted by canny imperfections
of the stained-glass.
At the end of the corridor,
a mirror. Regard
the fair Crone
whom you have become.
Ask for winter wisdom.
Carry out her counsel.

Loving this directness, this simplicity and the visual partner. Lands clean as an arrow in the psyche.
Your poems excited, validated, nourished, entertained, and inspired me. Thank you.
