Our Lady of Play
Six green parrots on the green green grass
allow me to see them this morning,
while Our Lady of Play
smiles from her mural.
Anything can happen now.
La Guadalupe of the Soccer Field
eyes the ball beneath her feet,
lets rip her perfect kick.
Did I see it, did I not?
The six green parrots cheer in wild squawks.
