WATER In her Tub on the Roof

I relish the waters,
my faithful old body
drinking in the safety,
the comfort,
as if the tub, a womb;
and I, tiny and new,
immersed once more.

The water washes
busy thoughts away
On a planet of mostly water
in a body of mostly water,
I float behind the thoughts,
in the spaciousness
of pure awareness.

Boundaries blur
Definitions slur.
Water coaxes
elements to meld.
I allow dissolving
of edges and concerns.
I am mended, and restored.
