A thousand mangos drop to earth
from a single ancient tree.
For months I gather from her fallen bounty.
How Gaia broadcasts fruitful love
in staggering abundance!
This tree’s as generous
as Artemis of Ephesus,
Quantum Mother of a Thousand Breasts
who offers all the world
the milk of her endless mercy.
