Hammock Healing
With this poem, I say farewell to autumn colors, and bring my poet self to brightness elsewhere.
Cradled like a babe
in cotton bright with woven colors,
I am rocked between two trees
by easy autumn breeze.
Gratitude suffuses me,
expands around me in a glow.
Well-being that streams through me,
I breathe out and out-
to soothe the grieving world.
