Dark Moon Before Travel
I honor the resting time,
praising
invisibility and trust.
I gather courage to emerge,
preparing myself to wax.
I pray for burgeon and balance.
May I stay steady
centered and aware
even as I travel wide.
May I re-member my body as earth,
May you, too, this day
emerge and grow, and remember .
