Buzz Beneath the Ground
Brim your heart
with all the respect that you can gather,
and put your ear to the ground
by whatever tree is near.
The mycorrhizal party line,
a fungal network vast beneath each step,
may let you listen in.
You may get to hear
the loving buzz
of mycorrhizal power
that always
hums beneath the ground.
