Between Two Windows
Here in the house of my lifetime
I stand between two windows open wide.
I feel in my body the chord,
from ancestors to me,
from me to my descendants,
a continuing vibration
sounding all through time.
Each of us lives
in a state of connection
with gone-before and future ones.
We call and respond in a long procession,
dreaming and gifting and growing.
Whee!
We message through all of time.
