Light Up with Wonder
Will you bio-luminesce with me?
Let’s throb into the wealth
of the sensory world
every chance we get.
Let’s light up with wonder.|
We’ll stand stock still on the corner
staring at the wildflower, at how
its unsurpassable plenitude
has cracked open the sidewalk.
Every day let’s offer ourselves to life,
pausing like children
over astonishing patterns,
and ravishing details,
convinced there is no
such thing as too much
openness or curiosity.
Oh yes, let’s all let ourselves
bio-luminesce.
